The RCD design provides absolutely foolproof sealing if the "O" ring is installed so it will contact the body when closed. NOTE: The "O" ring does NOT go on the step where it would touch the rubber shroud. The "O" ring should be clean, but lubricant is not needed. Batteries occasionally leak a very corrosive substance that will remove the coating on the reflector. This condition is often confused with underwater leakage which will not affect the reflector coating. Batteries should be removed before storage of the light. Check bulb and batteries if the light fails to operate. |
